Singing the Halloween Haunted House Song

Here’s a quick Halloween song which you can sing and add more lyrics to:

Sing the following lyrics to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus" and make up some more verses with your students. I am uploading a home-made production of the song so that you hear what I mean.

The children in the House say Trick or Treat. Trick or Treat. Trick or Treat.

The children in the House say Trick or Treat. In the Halloween Haunted House

The ghosts in the house say Boo boo boo. Boo boo boo. Boo boo boo.

The ghosts in the house say Boo boo boo. In the Halloween Haunted House

The witches in the House say Hee hee hee. Hee hee hee. Hee hee hee.

The witches in the House say Hee hee hee. In the Halloween Haunted House

Halloween SceneHalloween Moon Mobile Decorations for Class

Are you ready to make some spooky Halloween Mobiles to decorate your English class or home?

1. First, print the template that you want to use. You will find a tree, a pumpkin scarecrow, a pumpkin, a bat, a bat and a moon, a haunted house, a ghost, an owl, and a monster.

2. Cut out the black figure that you have chosen.

3. Glue the black silhouette cut out to a white paper plate.

4. Make a small hole at the top of the plate.

5. Pull a piece of string or thread through the hole at the top of the plate and tie a knot.

6. Use the string or thread to hang your Halloween Moon Silhouette from a coat hanger or from the ceiling.

Once you have made your mobiles use them to decorate the room. Turn off the lights and tell stories about witches, ghosts, monsters and haunted houses.  Make up your own stories and tell your friends.

Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween!
